The new "Animatrix" is coming out in a short bit. What do you folks think?

Well after watching it, I was disappointed and was left wanting more.

First of all, it is composed of nine short films going over the "Matrix" world, and was done by various producers. The most impressive were; "The Last Flight of the Osiris", and both "The Second Renaissance" part one and two.

The rest were "alright", but we're extremely cliche' or just flat out boring.

And yeah, exclusive screenshots (cerebro.labs.tk, ssartwork.tk) I managed to take of the best short, "Final Flight of the Osiris" by Squaresoft CGI. ;) Definently enjoying my exclusive dvd :D

I downloaded The second Renaissance (part one and two) (on the official website... for the "you've-downloaded-this-on-kazaa" freaks) and I'll just say that I've got brainwashed... Herm, I mean, illuminated 8O 8O 8O

it's like most other collections of short stories, some are good, some aren't. I liked the last one though "kid's story" and how it explained that annoying kid from Reloaded. Not to mention the sweet sweet rendered ass on Final Flight of Osiris.

The animation quality in the first movie (with all the screenies above) was bloody brilliant. But I spent a lot of time being confused during some of the others....
