web designers aren't that big in the old media, such as magazines.

there are magazines devoted to "DESIGN" in general though.

pretty funky. wallpaper is a "real" designer magazine though.

Go to the local magazine store and check. Never now. Just be prepared to spend money.

Also Surrey (BC, Canada) has a great place called "NewsStop". Sure it's no interest to you, but it's close to the skytrain =D
