Making a movie from .dem

ok, I want to make this "movie" out of cs demos. Like take a bunch and take cool parts, and put some music to it, and maybe some minor effects (slow motion). I have no idea where to start, can someone give me a few hints or sumtin. =]

but what prog should i use to put several clips into 1 movie?

i would just run a line out from a vid card with tv out and use rca to mini stereo plug for sound into a digital camcorder and record it then i would use final cut pro to edit (if you know someone with a mac)

if your video card has a video-out, then plug it to your VCR and record.
