Finally out of beta and kicking major ass. My only gripe is the new weapon models: They're too bright and cartoony looking, need some grime and wear on those guns ala 3.1. Anyways check it out, para has been removed and Brits have been added. The new maps are awesome as well, standouts include the redesigned Caen and the all-new Flash.

Arguably one of the best squad level WW2 games out there, and it's a damned mod for a game that's 4 years old that's running on a much older engine. Truly amazing things are done with technology.

dod_flash is fucken amazing, I played a game of like 1 hour or 2 without any team winning the map... Fairplay ROCKS !

Whats the gore like? I didn't like the puffs they put in, the fountains they had before were much prettier :D When someone next to you got shot in the head by a sniper you could feel the wet spray against your face but little red puffs? Pfft!

The game rules, and ive improved back to me 1.3 skills which i am most happy with.

The game is pretty flawed in some ways, lots of people looking at the DOD Offical Forums have had the same problems as me getting it to run ok, and the bots will come out in a few weeks d'oh :( I like the Brit voices though..."OI! BRING UP THAT BRENGUN!" :P

You still need half life for the dl'd version, but you can buy dod retail too and not need hl for that version.
