Here, where I live, "Fresh People" refers to the people who listen a lot of rap and hiphop, and wears sweatshirt and pants in cotton in the same color. Also, those people often has a big sign pending on their torso attached to a collar in chain. They also have weird caps of any basketball team in the NBA. Frequently, there are numbers for absolutly nothing on the shirt. They talk like "Hey man, whatzup, chill in the ghetto ?"....

THAT'S DISGUSTING !

Prep is far from gangsta. Gangsta people are usually pretty gay, unless thats actually who they are (crazy people who like to hurt things.) I know some just plain wiggers who I dont like, but theyre still funny occasionally in their homosexuality. On the other hand, I know people who dress similarily but are actually crazy. Neither are black, but that doesnt really make a difference. The one is a nice guy who wouldnt hurt a fly, the other one is in court for assault for a deadly weapon. Yeah, so this post has no point whatsoever, Im just bored/tired after a hardcore night of hockey in -20 degrees. Yay!

The British didn't get involved in the American Civil war...

This victory permitted the issuing of the Emancipation Proclamation. This effectively ended the possibility that Britain could recognize the Confederacy as a new nation struggling for its freedom. The British Cabinet could not possibly come out on the side of slavery.

The initially wanted to though, because the fact that the south didn't have much of a navy stopped them from being able to get cotton past the Union's navel blockade. Which hurt the English economy. But the British never went in as britian and fought against the Union.

Maybe a few bands of men or something..but that works both ways....

Umm -- I never said they used slaves.

The quote is stating that England would never support the south if they knew that a good part of the south's reason to succeed from the Union was due to slavery.

So what have you learned from all this -- exactly what I first said. They didn't HELP the south in any major way. (Even though they initially wanted to because they thought the south was doing exactly what the US did to them...broke apart from the home land...but that isnt the way it worked out)

trust me...i'm american, and its my heritage...heh
