Here's a great site where you can download a dll file that enables you to simply double click on a theme file and it appears in them theme selector window (Right-click on Desktop > Properties) so you can use it without even having StyleXP installed.

I'm guessing that's the PatchXP file. I believe the most of us are already using that mug. ;)

Haha, only PatchXP is way easier to use, and doesn't require safe mode.

Is there a program like PatchXP for icons? Or will PatchXP do that too?

You can change icons pretty easily without any patches can't you? I think you can, but I'm not too too sure. I know there are programs that replace all your icons at once though. Or at least as many as you tell it to.

Well, StarDock's icon packager does this. But I want something like PatchXP for icons.

I don't think you have to patch anything for icons, do you? I thought you could just do whatever you want with them

Oh well, screw it. I downloaded Stardock's Icon Packager and WindowBlinds.
I thought I downloaded some icons once and they didn't work because they were some weird file type.

But there'd be no way to change your icons without downloadng a new set. For image styles you can do the ole Right-Click > Properties > Appearance to switch, but there's nothing like that for icons.

Buck, you prolly had some mac or *nix icons. Icon Packager will replace most of the icons, but if you want to replace them all in one step, you should just mod every icon in your shell32.dll =P
