There's also odd advertisers popping up every now and then. I just had to ban a guy who outright said his job was 'data entry' and that his job was to post in forums. Yeah, don't do that. I'd rather have no one posting to the forums than spammers & advertisers posting.
If you want a more active forum, head over to my "band" site TrueNuff (http://www.truenuff.com) - the forums there have picked up a bit since there's new content (comics (http://comic.truenuff.com) & videos (http://tv.truenuff.com)) there.
