Steve has some smart tricks to curb automated spam and abuse on contact forms.
Graphic Nav Bar Using One Image Only (http://manisheriar.com/blog/graphic-nav-bars-one-image)
Sheriar Designs shows how to make a CSS powered nav that only uses one image. Great for fast loading but great looking nav bars. I love elegant solutions like this and have been using the technique in some of my upcoming projects.
Lightbox Javascript Image Viewer For Your Websites (http://www.huddletogether.com/projects/lightbox2/)
Very slick javascript for displaying images on your sites. You should be seeing this utilized in my upcoming projects as well.

This is more of a resource for freelancers, but this website has some really, really great articles if you're a freelancer or planning on making the swtich. Hence the name I guess eh? ;)More resources as I find 'em!
