Dont you hate it when you lose your sound because window crapped out on you with a window popping up or someone IMed you? Then when you switch back you lose your sound? No more! I have found a way where you can switch between screens without losing your sound..

When you get switched out or when you switch out and you want to go back to CS or any other HL mod for that matter while not losing your sound its quite simple...

All you need is your esc key actually. When your on windows click CS/HL tab on your taskbar and QUICKLY hold your esc key. Hold it until you hear something and release. It will be back for a second or two but it will come back with sound. Or hold the key until your screen comes back with sound! This is something I found out by accident and since I knew these boards are extremely popular (so i heard anyhow) so I thought I would share it to you all. No more would you guys have to restart CS just to get your sound back.

Btw threeboy, i hope you start skinning soon. I seriously been coming back every once and a while looking for your skins... With your talent its gonna be the coolest. Hell i hope you make a huge skin pack and stuff where you edit the blood, and everything to look more cartoony! That would seriously own

if i could get people together to create a stand alone mod that'd be cool :P

then again, we'd all probably get sued. heh.

thanks for the sound tip btw, losing sound pisses me off too much

I never lose sound anymore, on any thing. I alt+tab in and out of TFC and nothing ever happens.

are you serious?!

Ever other regular person I know that plays CS and any other HL MOD are always losing sound when they switch screens... Your pretty darn lucky if ya ask me.. Im quite jealous...

No no! Dont make a mod! Make a Skin Pack! Your 3D stuff you made are soo sweet! It would kick ass to have them as a skin. I tried taking whatever you had and make a skin out of it but I totally fudged up...

The REAL 1.6. Not the crappy beta. Seriously, the 1.6 beta release was bigger than the last 4 updates for CS (not including the bitching about losing people's precious bunny hopping). Give us the real thing or test it yourself Valve.

But what if the cows don't come home, or if they never actually left home but hid behind some bushes? We must make allowances for these things y'know ;)

If you have WinXP CS does different things depending on what OS you chose to simulate running it under on the compatibility options when you right-click the exe. But yeah... I thought everyone know aobut the ol' escape trick... ;)
