yeeeaaa.....so for my birthday, my parents bought me the Cannon PowerShot S200 Digital Elph. It rocks.
So yeah, Once i get a few photos uploaded..i will show u some quality. I really like the thing. I still want to get an older SLR camera like Budderfly said. but the digital camera is just more useful for my website type stuff. so yeah. i will post a link..going to upload the first picture.
heh..here is one of me and my lady kate-Kate and I (http://www.btl-tech.net/btl-images/katebrent1.jpg)
hopefully soon, i will get some pictures of my school -- my engineering building will be a nice once..hopefully will get a night shot of it tonight.
The card i got with the camera is only a small 8MB CF card, but my roomy gave me a 48mb card until i buy a 128mb. and the camera is a 2MegaPixel, takes a damn nice shot for 2.0 though. all and all..i really really like it :P

yeah whats up with them fireproof safes it might last throught the fire but people like me would have the key hidden in the house and stupid key would prolly melt or you wouldnt be able to find it
that or you got the combination written on a peice of paper and that burns up
then the damn thing is made to withstand like everything so you prolly wouldnt be able to get the thing open

does it take longer than 30 minutes for a house to burn down?

Yes. Yes it does.
brentech
10-18-2002, 06:25 AM
Which means yes, I would have to run into my house on fire, within 20 minutes of the start...and save the "fire proof" safe..heh
do u happen to be saying that your safe is fire proof but it catches alite in 30 mins!!

I am sure that it is more of a 'melting' affect to the metal...heh
Heh, if my safe went up in flames..it would probably have to be made of dry straw and twigs..hehe. Wouldn't that suck.

And if it caught on fire...there would be nothing left inside of it anyways.
My point here is that metal doesnt catch on fire..it melts...
ok...so does that make it still fire proof?

Yes it does. Because it can withstand the heat of a fire for a minimum of 20 minutes. It at least gives what is in the case a surviving chances. And the 20 minutes is if the fire is directly around the case...and at full force the entire time. Most normal house fires or something like that would dwindle off in time..probably leaving the safe in good condition.
