The forums have been moved back to www.threeboy.net since Media Temple (http://www.mediatemple.net/) upgraded their platform to the new (gs) setup.

The forums *should* be consistently speedier, without downtime. Let me know if problems arise.
The forum software (VBulletin) was also upgraded, but it was mostly a security update so there's probably no additional features.
