If you write a word into an address bar and then press Ctrl+Enter it will automatically add www. and .com for you? I turned on Windows Tips and I found out this 8) who knows what other golden nuggets Bill has hidden for us lazy Windows users? ;)

If anyone would like directions on how to get Windows Tips to aid me in my quest for small time-saving binds look down now. :P

1. Open a folder.
2. Click on View and then Explorer Bar
3. From the slide-out menu select Tip of the Day
4. Voila! You now have Windows Tips! 8)

anyone know how to change the default search page (when u type a word in address bar and press enter) mine uses this laggy stupid NineMSN search page

Yes. I dont remember though. But its somewhere. I made mine into google... bad idea. It just dont fit!

To search from the Address bar, type go, find, or ? followed by a word or phrase, and then press ENTER.

Anyone tried this? If so, where does it search?

using a question mark in the phrase doesn't work very well.. go and find do, and it uses msn search (who's ever heard of that before?)

I think if you change your default search engine it should search there? Am I right? I dont know. If so then I can see how it would be useful. If not, well msn search blows and so I'd never use it.
