im an old school counter-striker so i like dust and some other older ones
nothing can beat dust. booyah 8)

Yeah, it was cool... too bad the CS team took them out.

And I like being the VIP... its more of a challenge... alot of CS players these days arent into challenges.

de_dust, cs_militia, de_aztec is my favorite maps.
I have played aztec like every day the whole summer...
so mow i play dust mostly

prepatch cs_seige, if your team wasn't morons and you used the APC correctly you could own that map :D

aztec, militia, backalley, assault and italy are my faves at this point, even thought I don't play much any more.

I like de_train and de_survivor the most. And of course office and dust are great. I also like torn and havana, but no one ever likes to play on those maps. :(

ummmm lots i like some are assault,office,dust,dust2 and thats all i can think of at the moment :P

Here's my opinion:

de_dust: Kinda sweet, some cool textures, definitely a classic, rate it 3/5.

cs_assault: real-life situations, kinda makes it more real, actually assaulting a building as a swat team and rescuing hostages. 4/5

de_dust2: nothing beats de_dust, but i kinda like it because it takes some skill to get around without being pwned hardcore. Lots of open areas, but not without it's sweet hiding spots.. 3/5

de_train: love it. Real-life, plant the bomb on the train, lots of camouflage zones and real hard to see if somebody's hiding, reminds me of james bond... 4/5.

cs_italy: love the textures, love the overall map, love the italy music. 5/5

de_torn: wicked, it's kinda like italy, kinda like venice, sweet textures and the overall map is wicked. 5/5

cs_havana: death. 1/5

de_piranesi: pure genius. 5/5

de_aztec: wtf? hax? i recommend not playing this on a 32 player server... nades are just death. the map is pretty 1337, and it's layout has changed somewhat in 1.6, and not for the good... 4/5

Dust is the best.. no question about it..
put that with 1:30 minute round times and a 15 second bomb timer.. and u got one hell of a sweet game of rushing en killing :D

but you have to have strategies
sometimes the problem of playing on random cs servers is your team doesn't have a strategy planning going on...

that way you know where people are, and when you call for backup, you know somebody can regroup and come over to help you.

My favorite is de_dust, and de_aztec.

my top 5 maps

1. estate - fun for both ct and t. t protect the house. ct storm the house.

2. assault - great fun map... ct is good cos you get to fully storm that shed thing.

3. dust - an all round good map... fun for both ct and t

4. dust2 - as above

5. aztec - a very good map... very big, lots of different possibilities.

I like cs_assault when I feel like trying, and i like fy_iceworld when i just feel like kickin some ones ass over and over again. Im always a fan of The Jeepathons (6k is the best 8) ).
