How do I get rid of that annoying messenger thing in WindowsXP that pops up with retarted people trying to sell stuff and advertise porn?

Its not that I visited porn sites, its this gay shit that comes with XP but I think I deleted it with this thing I got at www.tweakxp.com but thnx anyway...

I did once have windows messenger pop up, but not once did i ever get anything that had to do with porn come up with it.

but yes, to uninstall it, all you have to do is

1. Click on the Start button and select Run.
2. Type "RunDll32 advpack.dll,LaunchINFSection %windir%\INF\msmsgs.inf,BLC.Remove" in the text box and click OK. You will see a progress bar appear shortly as it deletes its files and it will then ask you to reboot. After the reboot the program will be gone.

LOL,nah i got the same error message, then it went away, and another window popped up and sed it had been succesfully removed. :)

just listen to threeboy
go in the control panel admin tools then services and disable messenger

I don't see admin tools. By the way this is XP Home not Pro.

And if you have someone's IP who doesnt have a router or a firewall and hasnt disabled the service, YOU can send them those annoying popups. Buahaha. ;)
