oh, i just realized my post didn't go through... oops.

anyway, i had asked why you would think it's worth more than 1000? i can get a used system like that (sans sound card and one stick of ram) at a local cyber cafe for $430.00 and that includes a 19" monitor. i'm guessing you'll be lucky if you can get more than 600 for it.
