WANTED:Free animation programs...

I am looking for an easy to use basic animation program that I can use for free, I am currently using Jasc Softwares Animation Shop 3 but it is only a trial copy. I am thinking about making an online comic where the characters actually move so it is easier to follow whats going on :) Any help with finding a program would be much appreciated! Also if you would like to find out more about the comic or would like to offer your services as a writer or you would like to host it, please send me an email at demondan@strayduck.com 8)

There are free programs which allow you to string static images together into an animation. I can't think of any at the moment. I will get back to you when I remember one.

I tried, but I forgot that underneath the counter was a glass cabinet and I stubbed all my fingers on it :(
