QUESTION

"I am never able to draw the same person twice"
Tip:
Try drawing from the "general to the specific" - rough out characters with general shapes, and structure lines, and plumb lines. Fill in the specific details after.

You can see that I used shapes to get a rough outline and block in the size of the hogs (also very handy for planning placement), and from the underlying structure I began to add details.
Not sure if that helped, but that's all I gots. I don't think my characters come out very consitiant either. It can also just take practise.
Take the characters in the early TrueNuff comis for exampe, they were warpy and changed shape frequently:

However the later comics showed a bit more constiency:

So yeah, "General to Specific" and "Practise" - never stop drawing.
