Does anyone happen to know of any cs sponsers, I know of a few but i was going to ask you guys. Webhosting, server, etc, would be nice, and in return i will advertise for them on site, server, and on irc, etc. If you people know of any please tell me. Thanks

well yes, if its a good clan they get alot of sponsor offers, like the clan i`m in we got a ventrilo server (Ventrilo Voice Chat) and a Public cs server. soon we get a war server.

im not saying clans should get sponsors.. but if they are good enough. my clan was just lucky.

If you want a sponsor, you must be able to give them something in return. they want to see numbers of how many people you're going to expose to their brand/logo.
They also need to know that your players aren't going to quit in the next few weeks. you'll need contracts with them, and your clan should be made into a company before they will take you seriously.

they never just GIVE money away. you'll have to EARN it.

I don't know a whole lot about gamers..and sponserships, but I would think that getting sponsered for such a thing is a lot like asking for a grant.

You'll have to have your people together quite well...like gemini said. But you will probably also have to write them a proposal...saying when you practice, what you intend to do, what you can do for them. Everything like such. You'd have to be pretty professional...
