they're upgrading the firewall with features like zone alarm and putting a built in pop up blocker in IE.
no biggie but it's cool to have them included in for free.

According to many Magazines (well Australian magazines), they claim that SP2 is one of the first things Microsoft has made sure is bug-free. Apparently they [Microsoft] have had a 6 month beta testing period of SP2, which was beta testing from outside sources.
Anyway SP2 is looking really really promising, i'm looking forward to testing it out!

Doesn't look like its going to be too bad, as long as anything they do change, doesn't break current systems.

Well, apparently we can look forward to something like 6 service packs for Windows XP, since the next operating system isn't due until late 2006 or early 2007. Maybe they can throw in a more stable network interface.

the network isn't that bad for me... do you disable QoS packet thing?

The networking is stable for me too, i disabled QoS since most routers can't use it.
