My whole family used to be like you buckshot, until my dad got his for work a few years ago. Now every one of us has cell phones. They're extrordinarily useful.

yeah same with my family... now i mostly just use mine to text my friends stupid shit while they're in class.. but they are pretty handy to have when you REALLY need them.

cell is the only phone I have - there's no reason to pay for a land line if 1) I'm never at my apartment, and 2) I never use all my minutes anyway.

I've owned many phones.

I currently have an LG 5450 Cell (picture, colour, all dat)

had a nokia 8390 (i think, it was very small and glowed blue)

and i had an audiovox.

All with different carriers too.

Vodafone Australia, bought a contract with Panasonic, so that the GD55 could only be sold with Vodafone simcards and could only be used with Vodafone simcards. They brought the price down heaps, and simply because they are so small, they sell like hot cakes.
There is some useless info that I learned when they first came out, we ran out of stock fairly soon after.

My family works at a telephone company. We use them, but we don't like them very much. People can be so annoying when using them and they don't work in certain areas. Otherwise, they're fine. Whenever you have to use your cellphone in a car use a fucking head set! If you don't, somebody is going to get killed.

So your cell phone is like a leash in more than one way? I love my phone. Free national long distance is good!

1) Heh, funny thing is, this phone works on any network.

2) I don't own a car, so I don't drive and talk - I'm only 16.

3) So far reception has been pretty good.

4) I use 3 different SIM cards on different networks in the one phone :P

5) Cheap calls on one, Cheap Message's on the other, And best reception on the last.

Yeah cell phones are sweet, i actually just got one a nokia 3586i. I was wondering rocket, what is that on the bottom of your phone. Is a phone connector or a ethernet port or something else?
