My comp keeps restarting randomly when I'm playing Warcraft3. Although it has done it while I am working on AutoCAD (architecture), the vast majority of events has happened while playing games. Sometimes, instead of restarting, it gives an error message, something to the extent of "FATAL ERROR: <bunch of #s> <something about mad memory>"
Anyway, I was wondering if you guys know of a good PC diagnostic tool so I can fix this thing.

try that program out - my college roommate had similiar problems and after like a year of replacing parts, we finally found out that it was faulty RAM.

I had a similar problem with my computer. Me and my fashia considered faulty ram, so we bought more, and replaced it, but that didnt work. We tried EVERYTHING, but then learned there was a conflict between external soundcard (soundblaster live something) and the onboard soundcard that came with the motherboard. Never crashed again. So if that link zubaz gave doesn't help you, you might wanna check with the sound issues.
I found I used to be able to pick up some errors (I think this only works in XP) when you go to your command prompt (Start > Run > "cmd") and type "systeminfo". Don't know if this will help you at all though.

Yeah, for me, XP helped me instantly. I was running ME before, and the second I installed XP, it picked up the errors, and fixed them. It was a beautiful thing.

Yeah, I have XP. Thanks for the link zubaz. That prog is really nice. I just need to figure out where the problem is since I was expecting it to be bad ram, but it wasnt. Maybe it's a memory issue with my vid card. Hmmm.
Thanks for the suggestions everyone.
