So I thought I might try out changing my icons, what do I use? I saw in a thread 3boy said to use MicroAngelo, but I'd like to cut down on using background programs running for this kind of stuff if at all possible. I've also been trying out WindowsBlinds for theme changes, but it seems kind of bulky. Is that the norm program for Windows theme changes?

you can make icons in paint and photoshop, anything that can make .bmps i think. just save it as a .ico . Oh and it has to be the right size

Also norm program for windows theme changes? depends on what windows, with XP styleXP seems to be rather snazy with lots of diff stuff on the net.

they wont be real icons though.

They will be if they don't use silicon. :shock:

icons have multiple sizes and colors within them, if you use paint to make the icons they'll be one size only, and not real icons.
