Just went to Best Buy and picked this DVD up. I don't have the time to go through and see what any of the real special features are with it, but I will get to that tonight.
The one I got came packaged with a Bonus DVD that Includes:
.: The Matrix Thatrical Trailer
.: What is bullet time?
.: Inside the Animatrix
.: The Second Renaissance - Part II
.: The Matrix Reloaded Theatrical Trailer
.: The Animatrix
Seems to be a nice little set they made here. Can't wait to watch it again. :P

The bonus disk packaged outside of the DVD case says that it "includes a film from The Animatrix"
And then there are 2 discs included inside the DVD case too.
So really, I got 3 DVDs. Plus, bestbuy game me a stupid little coming attractions disk, so i got 4 DVDs today, for $14.99 USD
Not to shabby.

Only $14.99? Whoa, All the normal Reloaded DVDs here with just the standard 2 discs are by my rough calculations around $26 or more:(

damn!
DVDs are generally cheapest when they first come out here, so 14.99 for a new release is pretty normal.

Good old best buy - If only they were open 24 hours...
It's just a trailer for Animatrix, nothing more.
I was highly disappointed with the movie. If I'd known it ended like that I'd never have bought it. Not in a million years, what a joke.

Reloaded kicked major ace, just like the first one. I hope the third one's as good. :)

The ending of the second one was great. It set up a third movie and gave a little deeper insight into the matrix and the "intelligent" machines. I'm looking forward to the third one.

@ brentech: So you'd say this DVD is worth picking up?

I didn't like the ending for the second movie simply because it makes the wait for the third one even worse.

werd, but it's coming out Nov. 5th! At least we dont' have to wait till like 2005 or something. I just finished watching the DVD, and I can't really see any reason NOT to buy it, especially since it's cheap town ($15 at best buy). I haven't taken a look at the special features on the second disc yet, but if the features on one disc of the original matrix are any indication, they're bound to be pretty sweet.

I liked it, although I found the special features to be lacking. :(
I'm gonna rent it this weekend and figure out If I wanna buy it or not.

You don't buy a movie for it's special features. :?

Obviously. He mentioned the special features though:

the benefits of the special features can sometimes draw the line between buying at this price or waiting for it to drop... at least for me

The special features are really good. I watched them first (since I had already seen the movie four times!).

at least revolutions will be better than reloaded.... how do i know; because when given the option which of the two they were aloud to submit for academy awards, they chose revolutions

Plus the trailer for Revolutions looks amazing.
