They look smaller than size 13. Then again, anything less than a 15 looks small to me.

kkomafo

yeah i know that UK and US shoes have different sizes. you can see usually when you look at the tag on the shoes. they have the size in the US and the size in the UK..and some other size, i forget what it is.

it's centimeters isn't it?

kkomafo
09-23-2003, 10:11 AM
i was thinking that... but then i wasn't sure cuz 47 centimeters seemed oddly large. i don't have a ruler on me now though so i can't approximate...

Xelopheris
09-23-2003, 01:17 PM
It's not the centimeters. A size 13 show is about 29 centimeters.

kkomafo
09-24-2003, 10:01 AM
yeah as cool as it is to get a new pair of shoes, i get pretty attached to to my old shoes, as long as they feel comfortable...and don't have holes. i had a pair of shoes that i couldn't wear when it started raining. i miss those shoes..

That font is even more angering than the last one. Is there something wrong with black? I can barely read that.

Back to the topic at hand... new shoes are nice. When I got mine though I had some serious hammer-toe (where the toenail gets destroyed because your shoes are the wrong shape in the front). Now I've worked them in and theyre so unbelievably comfortable.

kkomafo
09-24-2003, 02:56 PM
yeah i realized after i posted. that one i agree with. ...also the computer i was on at the time made it look darker. :?

I got some new Vans for school and some new DCs a month or so back, 'cos the trainers I was using for school were about 3 sizes too small and the shoes I wore outta school were just gay and cheap.

Shamus

training shoes? like training wheels?

MulletMan
09-25-2003, 01:48 PM
You mean cross trainers? They dont provide enough cushion for running, they dont have the support for basketball, they dont have the grip of tennis shoes. Basically, cross trainers are the worst shoes you can possibly buy for any single sport, besides casual shoes.

Liquor_Riss
09-25-2003, 01:51 PM
Cross trainers? Eh? Uhhh trainers are like........Nike Air shoes? Adidas? Reebok? Y'know all those, right?

MulletMan
09-25-2003, 01:57 PM
All three of those companies make cross trainers. They're basically any "sport" shoes that aren't designed for one particular sport. Instead, they're designed for a plethora of sports.

Cross-trainers are allright for general workouts. If you do aerobic and weights, they're good.

Shamus
09-25-2003, 01:58 PM
cross training shoes are for running and workout stuff

Liquor_Riss
09-25-2003, 02:17 PM
Oh. Suppose I did have training shoes then, yeah.

MulletMan
09-25-2003, 02:26 PM
If you're actually serious about running, you would never, EVER run in cross-trainers. If you live in Canada, stop by your local Running Room and they'll custom fit you to a pair of running shoes. Oh, and the Running Room has 2 stores in the States I think, I'll find out where they are. I know the owner of the chain, and his stores are the best running stores you can find.

MulletMan
09-25-2003, 02:27 PM
Theres nothing wrong with cross trainers though, unless you're serious about a sport. I think my adidas are classified as either basketball shoes or cross trainers, but theyre comfy and look spiffy so that's all that matters.

Liquor_Riss
09-27-2003, 03:23 AM
Yeah, in school though we just do loads of different sports, so I didn't feel the need for specialized shoes :P
