Splinter Cell

Splinter cell is one of the best games I've ever played I rented it on the weekend and man is it awsome. I was taking out guys with my sc-20k a 5.66mm assault weopon that has a launcher on the bottom for custom fittings such as ring air foil projectors to knock poeple out. Plus you can get sticky cameras that you shoot anywhere and you can see what it sees. You can also pick up again for later use. You can also get sticky shockers that shock people, but doesn't kill them. But this game takes long hours to play considering it is very difficult. I only got to the fifth level and that took me 2 days and there is 14 so i'll be playing for a while. But all I can say that it is awesome. I never played it but a frined of mine has it... omg roxx!!
the shadow effects are so real, splinter cell is acully the first game with "real shadows".

I would never buy it cuz im not much of a xbox dude, I stick to the good old consoles like Nintendo and Sega.

maybe most of people that download the demo cant play it even i have a PC that more good than the recomended spesification :(

SPlinter Cell is the shyt...i mean the the weapons they hav besides the pistol r weapon thats r in the works foer future stuff...the sc-20k is among the best weapons ive seen, and has a wide range if things u can do with it..the guy who started the post forgot to mention the diversion camra, that thing is so awesome its liek u shoot it and u make it wistle to attarct attention and u can make smoke com out of it and knock out ur enemy...really cool stuff...i beat this game today i was goin to make a topic on this but i saw this one lol...

Well on xbox its meant to be good The official australian xbox magazine rates it 9.7 ..the same as Halo so it must be pretty good

HALO is a neat game. I will give it that much. But I don't think it is really worth a 9.7?

the 16bit textures were kinda fugly.

That should have gotten a few notches taken off of the graphics part of the rating ;)

Yer well i got those ratings out of the official australian xbox mag and theyre the two highest ranked games both on 9.7 :!:

Yeah -- we aren't saying that it is a bad game. I just don't personally feel that the game deserves a 9.7 on anyone's scale. I think that there are a lot better games, but that doesn't even mean the games I have in mind deserve a 9.7 either.

I've seen it rated higher than 9.7 to so ppl must think its good

the first level blows big time but the cia/office levels own major ass, is it just me or is there no real place in the game where the split jump actually comes in handy?

We'll if you've played the cia level then you got to know that when you are going to get your next gun there are gaurds walking in between. Shelves of books you jump up there and wait for them to come. When they are under you, jump on them and knock them out. Then the other people hear this and they come, then just rinse and repeat till they are gone.

holy s-h-i-z. I played the demo, and WOW. My computer has to run it at 640x480 everything low to even handle it (no thanks to my geforce2), I can imagine what it looks like at high resolutions/jacked up all the way. 8O
