I don't like the big shadows on everything or the big blocky colours, the gun and the bullets themselves could make a good desktop on perhaps a plain white background with the name of the gun in more subtle colours and font, maybe something pixelly/techy. Scratch the bulletholes while you're at it too :)

Which effect are you trying to go for here for the gun? cartoony or real? It seems it's lost in a quandary between the two.

I like it a fair amount, but look at your bullet holes. If you were to shoot a bullet into a white wall, you would chip away paint, not insert metal over it, and the shadow looks like your metal part is on top. Other than that, I'd say it's good.

I don't really know what look I was going for either... I just wanted to make something that looks cool. I don't know if that's a good approach or not. I personally like it, but I can also definately see where everyone is coming from. I didn't have plans to change this one, but rather do another piece and hopefully remember all your advice. I don't know if that is a good idea, but I don't like immediately returning to the same pice of work. Perhaps at a later date.

I speak a tiny amount of french, only what I can remember from uptill grade 10. I actually took grade 11 french, but I ended up sitting be side a blind girl, and it was then i realized i was only good because I could see the person's work beside me. lol. (sorry that was rather off topic).

So again I'd like to say thanks for all the input everyone gives, it is GREATLY appreciated.
