I've always wanted to host a CS server for fun, so I set one up for the forum. I'll try to keep it on all the time if you guys like it.

Stuff I have running on it:

- POD Bot, so you're never lonely ;)
- Cheating Death (get it at www.unitedadmins.com/cdeath.php)
- Admin mod
- HLGuard
- maxplayers 10

As of now this is an experiment, so post comments/suggestions/problems here. :)

If you join and play with the bots for a little bit, then other real people will probably join!

Hm. Well it seems it likes to randomly crash sometimes. Maybe it doesn't like Windows 2000?

Yeah it just crashed for me on Win 98SE. :(
I was rather enjoying Devil beating us into submission from long range ;)

I thought crashing had a fair bit to do with running bots in an online server... Don't take my word for it though.

Well, as experiments go, I think this one is over. I've decided I have neither the resources nor support to keep this up all the time. Maybe I'll put it back up for a backup server on Games Night or something.

Where will I go without my Threeboy Forum Server goodness....UK2 have banned me from most of their Beginner servers, they're the only places I have a sure chance of killing someone :(;)

I say try again, but without the bots, I was about to try and ping the server via ms-dos and see how my ping might be (so I might actually consider re-installing HL and CS again). Ahh well, maybe some other time.

I had to share bandwidth with my older sister downloading about a million MP3s on Kazaa and I was chugging along on CS :)
