The maple leaf is pixelated to shit, and the penguin is blurry. Layout looks good though, but there isnt much else...

We'll I can't figure out why part of the site resizes and the top bar doesn't.
Plus right now the top bar is in 3 peices.

I've fixed the maple leaf a bit.

I've changed the title.

And it's 5 pics now ha. Plus this is just a template so far that i'm getting ready to put on the web.

First of all, do you know what the word TEMPLATE means?

Second of all, the edit button is a useful tool.

finally got it too resize when you change your resolution. Now for smaller details. Like links and retouching images.

Percentages can be good in that everyone should see the backgrounds and stuff the same way, but sometimes it can distort the way your text content appears. :?
I prefer just making a site that is viewable under 800x600....but more of optimized for 1024x768 and up.

I would say yes -- optimize it for 800x600
I did mine for 1024x768, although I think it looks best on what it was created at..which was 1280x1024.

I think most people these days run at 1024x768 though. My site is still entirely visible at 800x600 though, because I don't think anything is wider than 620px or something like that...

Do what you want with it, but I just don't like percents because it allows people to kinda make your site into silly puddy, which is fun sometimes, but we all know silly puddy can get pretty disgusting. 8O

some people still run 800x600

I know -- I was just saying that most people by this day...are running a good 1024x768.

Cause in all reality..there are people that still run lower resolutions than 800x600.

How do you optimize for 800X600 in frontpage. Do i just turn down my res, or do I have to do something special.

make the page width fit in 800x600
