SWG vs. EQ

So, Star wars galaxies is almost ready to release....cept they delayed it a little.....but which do you think will do better, playerwise.

i know everquest has alot of players already and i am a huge fan of it but i honestly think that galaxies will do very well. The fanbase for starwars is HUGE, and i simply dont think everquest will be able to compete after its release.

any other thoughts?

It's pretty hard to comment on an unreleased game unless you've played the beta.

but generally speaking, starwars has a big existing fanbase and everquest has built up a big fanbase.

both games are made by the same team, and use similar engine (same, stawars's was derrived from EQ methinks)..

which brings me to my next point, why do we have to say one is better?

i was asking which one you would prefer. im probably going to try to have both. i already have everquest, but i really want swg. and i will most likely play swg more than i would eq
