ive got 256 ddr. its lags like hell when im inside citys but outside it runs well. my friends running 738 ddr and it runs VERY smooth.

In a nutshell, the game is really fun to play and there are a lot of nice people. I recently met someone who I'm working with as a team to complete missions and such. The gameplay is also really good, although the System "Requirements"* are pretty demanding. However, I only experience slight lag. I also use a GeForce2 MX 440, and the graphics are a little shabby, so you might need a pretty good graphics card as well.

Here's my computer specs:
Processor: 2GHz Intel Pentium 4
Memory: 256MB
Hard Drive: 60GB
Video Card: GeForce2 MX 440

One more thing, my account name is Vandalin and the character I created is currently a Scout, his name is Carbine. I made it with my friends, and he's a pretty well-rounded guy. Speaking of which, how I obtained Star Wars Galaxies is a pretty funny story. Make a long story short, my friends randomly called me explaining that they had bought SWG from Best Buy and asked if they could come over to my house to play it since, out of my friends, I'm the only one with a half-decent computer. They also said I could keep it. So hey, free game? Sure, I'll take it. :P

I finally anteed up and bought it. I'm playing as a Brawler. I'm actually pretty disappointed with it right now. I'm a little confused as to what the point of the game is. You know, there's EQ with leveling up, etc, but you can't do that too much in SWG other than professions.

I don't know what the fetch to do right now. I have like 200 bucks and I've maxed out my one arm experience, but I don't have the 1000 credits to obtain the full skill. :? And plus I don't even know how to get money efficiently. The last two missions I've done the NPCs have given me broken shiz. And how the crap do I get money out of that? I put'em on the bazaar but I doubt I'll get anything from'em. And speaking of the bazaar. My first experience with buying something on it, and what a piece of crap! I bought an axe for like 150 credits and when I go to the waypoint specified to pick it up, lo and behold, the stupid terminal won't let me collect it! :evil: :evil:

Haha Shamus, that picture is fucking insane. So yeah, I've been saving up for awhile to buy this game since I first got to try it at my friend's house the first day it came out. We stayed in his room for hours on end figuring out the game, but unfortunately not much luck. I bought it from him for a cheap price after he got tired of it. (He's a very impatient person and won't stand for games that take up too much of his brain capacity) Anyway, I think I'm going to sign up for another month's fee. It's only about $15 dollars, right? swg was only good when it was beta. they took out some of the best features. it sucks now. maybe expansions will bring them back. i still won't pay to play it.

I never get an opportunity to play these games mainly because I don't have a source of income so there's no way I can afford to play it and I don't want to play it for the time you get for buying it then get addicted and not be able to play again. Looks cool though, but Im willling to bet FF11 is better.
