Well, I've made my first desktop wallpaper. I hadn't really touched Photoshop until two days ago, so don't expect perfection, but please give me some feedback or hints on ways to make it better.
I am an Architecture student, so the theme is a chapel in France, Notre Dame Du Haut, done by a fameous Arctitect by the name of Le Corbusier. It's very simple, but I hope you like it:

Thanks in advance for any feedback. :)

I really like it. Simple yet great to look at. If you have a 1024x786 version I'd like to get my hands on it if possible.

Reminds me of the Windows XP wallpapers with the rolling hills with perfect green grass.

it's very artistic and I like it, however, it seems some parts of the cutout are a little jaggedy or something (the most noticeable on the left cylinder on the top right). did you use the Extract tool in Photoshop?

You're right. I used the magnetic lasso to get the original image.

Ya, I don't think that works as well (in my experience). Try using the Extract tool if Photoshop 7.0 has it; I know 6.0 did.

I love it. I'd never use it because it looks like something from a magazine, but it's very well done.

any way we could get a full size version of this posted somewhere? Like wallpaper sizes? I'll host it if you have no space.
