took this picture when i went to the beach this weekend. it was really nice out, and the water was awesome. :) not one of my best photos, but its got a nice calming feel about it.. i think anyway.

Yep, a Canon Powershot S30 (http://www.powershot.com/powershot2/s40-30/). It was about 30 C out, and the water was a really nice temperature. Of course, it's not clear and blue ocean water like you aussies!! It's a fresh water lake :P

I know. I was there last summer, and I was there this winter. I love Montreal, but no offence, Quebec City is much more exciting for me. I love the pubs. :D (nice tall pints... so good)

As for me being banned, I don't see why people bring it up, It has nothing to do with anything, and it helps your defence what-so-ever. I do like the photo, that's like 100% in my photo 20 class. Of course I was never actually IN photo 20... I just went to the class during my spare and chilled out with my friends there.

I am not sure if it could be used in any genre we had in my photography class.

I wouldn't consider it to "lead the viewers eye" or to be a "closeup"...and it sure isn't an "odd angle".
So I dunno.
More of looks like something that belongs on a post card :P
