Threeboy Network is a site I started in 1999 when I was in University. I was bored with school assignments and created some cartoons based on a popular computer game (at the time) called Counter-Strike. I uplaoded the cartoons to my univeristy web space and they got some good buzz from around the net. I created more toons and other stuff like desktop wallpapers and rigged up a website to showcase it all.

Eventually people asked me to make custom cartoons for them and eventually they wanted websites. After building up a decent portfolio of work I created for others (for free) I created my business site over at Threeboy Design and started to land paying gigs.

I kept Threeboy Network (the site you're on) as my personal site/blog to tinker with and showcase some of my non-business related creations.

My name is James Dodds III and I'm also known as "Threeboy" on the internets.

The name "Threeboy" came from my grandma - she thought it was odd I had a "III" at the end of my name and would call me "Threeboy." When it came time for me to choose an online nickname "Threeboy" was original enough and avalible on most sites so I went with it.

I was born in a country called Singapore in 1980 and moved to Canada in 1984. I'm currently located in Richmond BC, Canada (Near Vancouver).

I'm a freelance designer for hire and I also create questionable comics and sketch comedy videos with my friends over at TrueNuff.

When I'm not messing around online I obsess over martial arts, play videogames, chill with friends, go for long walks, and play guitar badly.
